An elaborate engraved frontispiece features several biblical and mythological scenes framed by ornate baroque scrollwork and acanthus leaves.
At the top left, a scene depicts the Garden of Eden with Adam and Eve near the Tree of Knowledge and the serpent. At the top right, a scene shows a group of people kneeling in prayer or sacrifice before an altar with smoke rising, set against a mountainous landscape.
The central large oval vignette depicts a grand classical temple complex, likely the Temple of Solomon, with a large dome, colonnades, and various ritual objects in the courtyard, including a large altar and a seven-branched menorah. To the left of this central oval stands a figure holding the Tablets of the Law, representing Moses, and to the right stands a high priest in ceremonial robes holding a censer.
Below the central scene are two smaller circular vignettes. The left one shows a seated deity or figure of authority being worshipped by people. The right one shows a standing figure, possibly a classical deity like Apollo or a personification of the sun, with a sun and moon in the sky and figures prostrating themselves.
The bottom of the page contains a decorative cartouche with the title text, supported by floral garlands and a central grotesque mask.
