PREFACE.

the Philosophers have spoken so little in their Books, having attached themselves only to the second operation, of which I also reserve the right to explain myself on another occasion.

This is the true Philosophy that I profess: without it I would never have learned to read in the great Book of Nature; I would never have known how the seven Planets influence the lower bodies, and how the seven Metals reciprocally attract the rays of the Light: Without it I would not have known how to meditate
