The Works of Philo Judaeus, Vol. 3

A black cloth or leather book cover featuring elaborate blind-stamped ornamentation. The design is centered around a circular medallion contained within a large, eight-pointed geometric star composed of scrolling floral and acanthus leaf motifs. The circular seal at the center contains text surrounding a twelve-pointed starburst. Each corner of the cover is filled with ornate, symmetrical scrolling floral patterns, all enclosed within a decorative border of repeating floral or quatrefoil shapes. A white library barcode sticker is affixed to the upper left-hand corner.
