Alexander had appointed him as minister, chosen him,
and selected him, due to the soundness of his judgment,
his pursuit of knowledge, his abundance of forbearance, and his uniqueness and majesty in noble qualities,
praiseworthy statecraft, and divine sciences, along with his devotion worshipper,
piety, abstinence, humility, love of justice, and preference for truth.
This is something many scholars have not seen in any but the prophets. It has been
narrated in many of the histories of the Greeks that God Almighty
revealed to Daniel, "I am making you a king that will be close to you."
