A circular seal for the Egypt Exploration Fund displays a central image of an Egyptian pylon topped with a winged sun disk. A seated figure, representing a deity or pharaoh, sits within the gateway and is flanked by two rearing cobras, known as uraei. Stylized lotus or papyrus plants decorate either side of the structure. The name of the organization appears in the circular border around the central motif.
