q? and its splendor, and its multitude, and its tumult, and he who exults in it shall descend.
And the common man shall be humbled, and the great man shall be brought low, and the eyes of the haughty shall be humbled. But the LORD of hosts shall be exalted in justice, and the Holy God shall be sanctified
in righteousness. Then the lambs shall graze according to their manner, and strangers shall eat the waste places of the fat ones. Woe to those who draw iniquity with cords of falsehood,
and sin as if with a cart rope, who say: "Let him make speed, let him hasten his work, that we may see it; and let the counsel of the Holy One of Israel draw near and come,
that we may know it!" Woe to those who call evil good and good evil; who put darkness for light and light for darkness; who put
bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter! Woe to those who are wise in their own eyes, and prudent in their own sight! Woe to those who are heroes at drinking wine, and men of valor
at mixing strong drink; who justify the wicked for a bribe, and take away the righteousness of the righteous from him! Therefore, as the tongue of fire devours the stubble,
and the dry grass sinks down in the flame, their root shall be as rottenness, and their blossom shall go up like dust; because they have rejected the law of the LORD of hosts, and the word of the Holy One of
Israel they have despised. Therefore the anger of the LORD was kindled against his people, and he stretched out his hand against them and struck them; and the mountains trembled, and their carcasses were as refuse in the midst of the streets. For all this
his anger has not turned back, but his hand is stretched out still. And he will lift up an ensign to the nations from afar, and will whistle for them from the end of the earth; and behold, speedily and quickly they shall come.
None shall be weary or stumble among them; none shall slumber or sleep; nor shall the girdle of their loins be loosened, nor the latchet of their shoes be broken; whose arrows are
sharp, and all their bows bent; their horses’ hoofs shall be counted like flint, and their wheels like a whirlwind. Their roaring shall be like a lion, it shall roar?
like young lions; they shall growl and seize the prey, and carry it off, and none shall deliver. And they shall growl against them on that day like the roaring of the sea; and if one look to the land, behold,
darkness and distress; and the light is darkened in the clouds thereof.

In the year that King Uzziah died I saw also the Lord sitting upon a throne, high and lifted up, and his train filled the temple.
Above it stood the seraphim; each had six wings; with twain he covered his face, and with twain he covered his feet, and with twain he did fly.
And one cried unto another and said: "Holy, holy, holy is the LORD of hosts; the whole earth is full of his glory." And the foundations of the thresholds shook at the voice of him who cried,
and the house was filled with smoke. Then I said: "Woe is me! For I am lost; because I am a man of unclean lips, and I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips;
for my eyes have seen the King, the LORD of hosts." Then one of the seraphim flew unto me, having a live coal in his hand? which he had taken
with tongs from off the altar. And he touched my mouth and said: "Behold, this has touched your lips; and your iniquity is taken away, and your sin atoned for?."
