The Emperors, on their part, seem to have been grateful for the loyal attachment of this people. Thus:

Imperator Caesar Vespasianus Augustus, Chief Priest,
holding Tribunician Power for the 7th time, Imperator for the 17th time, Father of the Fatherland, Consul for the 7th time, designated for the 8th time,
Restored the temple of the Mother of the Gods, which had collapsed due to an earthquake.

Again upon a public weight:
Imperator Vespasianus Augustus for the 8th time,
Titus Imperator, son of Augustus, for the 6th time.
Verified at the Capitol.

And upon another public weight:
Tiberius Claudius Caesar Augustus Vitellius,
Consul for the 3rd time, verified at the standard,
Under the care of the Aedile.
