Furthermore, if there is anyone to whom not everything we have taught concerning the connection of things, the elements, and the nature of bodies is agreeable, let him by all means abound in his own sense. We shall not initiate a dispute with anyone; but if someone should wish to initiate a dispute with us further concerning this matter, we shall offer him no reply. For there remains much to be done before the entire system of philosophy, which we outlined in the preliminary discourse, is completed. However, once it is finished, I shall respond if, perchance, any points should occur that seem to me worthy of some answer, or, if the matter so requires, I shall respond in my leisure hours to whatever seems necessary.
