Mille thousand is found as an indeclinable noun of neuter gender of the first number: as Cicero says, "The youth is one who carries a thousand pieces of money original: "mille numum" to Antony." It is also an adjective: as "a thousand men." Milla can be a declinable substantive of the plural number. Hence, "of a thousand men" original: "mille hoim" and "a thousand men." Also, we do not say "thousands of men" original: "milia hoies" but "thousands of men." Also, mille is used as a substantive, "a thousand of men," instead of "many men." But what the scripture says, "ten thousand talents" original: "decem milia talenta" and "twelve thousand signatures," is not to be imitated by us.
