Following him, INNOCENT X, Supreme Pontiff, with the greatest magnificence erected the obelisk of the Egyptian King Sothis, [which had been] erected by Antoninus Caracalla in his Hippodrome and moved from there, in the Circus Agonalis, or Roman forum, commonly [called] piazza Navona.	4043	1644
Finally, ALEXANDER VII, Supreme Pontiff, out of the immense breadth of a great mind for accomplishing any difficult task, erected the obelisk, the interpretation of which we present in this book, in the forum of Minerva with customary magnificence.		1666
