The single Sun triumphs in the world, revealing hidden objects in the deep darkness with his own rays, out of great compassion for people. For those whose minds are purified through the practice of meditation on the True Principle referring to the Supreme Reality or Brahman, the Sun also reveals the ultimate Truth to the yogis.
"Triumphs" means he exists with supreme excellence. Who? This Sun. How is he characterized? He is one, without a second. What is he doing? Revealing. What? Objects. By what? By his own brilliance. Where? In the world. What kind of objects? The hidden, invisible ones. When? When darkness exists. By what cause? Out of great compassion for the people. "Great compassion" means the intense pity for the people. He does not merely reveal material objects like pots and cloths; he also reveals the Supreme Reality—the Supreme Brahman—to the yogis. To whom? To those whose minds are purified. By what? By the practice of meditation on the Sat the True/Being. It is the one Sun who shines, revealing the Supreme Reality to those yogis whose minds are purified by the practice of meditation on the Supreme Brahman.
Now, in this treatise composed by myself, by His grace, I shall reveal those objects that are hidden, out of compassion for the students.
