If you spot an error, have a suggestion, or just want to say hello — we’d love to hear from you.

I must urge the Reverend Father Dinet Jacques Dinet (1584–1653) was a Jesuit and confessor to King Louis XIII and Louis XIV., who proves the existence of God and the immortality of our souls in a brief but powerful treatise. I also urge the most subtle Montarsier Pierre de Montarsy was a contemporary scholar known for his interest in the intersection of science and theology., who approached the same goal from the first principles of nature or the sciences. Finally, I urge our own Reverend Father J. Lacombe Jacques Lacombe was a fellow member of the Order of Minims with Mersenne.. He seems to me to have established a new Philosophy and Theology so successfully through the contemplation of divine ideas and the various degrees of participation by which creatures are related to God. Those who have perfectly absorbed his theological-philosophical system will have nothing left to do but be swept into the deepest ecstasy and sing to God eternally with the blessed:
They shall publish the memory of the abundance of your sweetness, and shall rejoice in your justice. original: "Memoriam abundantiae suauitatis tuae eructabunt, & iustitiâ tuâ exultabunt." This is a quote from Psalm 145:7.
I say that these most excellent men, and any others besides them, must be urged not to deny their treatises to the light of the public any longer, if it can be done conveniently. They should not hide such great treasures for too long.

I omit the remaining errors that the reader can easily correct. For example, in the upper margins of the Collection of Pappus, the title "Pappus's Collections" should have been placed consistently. Pappus of Alexandria was a 4th-century mathematician whose work preserved much of ancient Greek geometry.
Furthermore, errors occurred at times in the page numbers. For instance, after pages 71 and 72, the numbers 71 and 72 are repeated.
Otherwise, the Index following this leaf will serve as a Mathematical Dictionary. In it, almost all terms that are not commonly known will be explained.
