A large, elaborate woodcut printer's device is set within an ornate scrollwork frame featuring several masks. In the center of the oval frame is a seated female personification of Peace. She holds an olive branch in her right hand and a cornucopia in her left. To her right sits a small smoking urn or brazier. The word "PAX" Peace is inscribed on the right side within the oval.
