THO. MOFFETT of London, with the greatest labor and expense, compiled, augmented, and perfected:
A woodcut illustration features a central square frame containing a woven beehive (skep) positioned on a simple four-legged wooden table. Several bees fly around the hive, while one enters the base and another sits on the surface. Surrounding this frame are individual depictions of various arthropods. On the left side, arranged vertically, are a stag beetle, a smaller beetle, a caterpillar, a moth with patterned wings, and a scorpion. On the right side, arranged vertically, are a common fly, a bumblebee or larger hairy fly, a spider, and two smaller winged insects (possibly a fly and a wasp). Below the central beehive frame, a large, thick, segmented caterpillar or larva extends across the width of the image area.
