Senium Old age/Weariness is weariness and hatred, named from senectus old age, because old men are a hatred and a weariness to everyone. Caecilius in the Hephaestio:
"Then, however, in old age I consider this most miserable,
To feel at that age that one is hateful to another."
4 Caecilius Hephaestio.
The editor notes that the titles prefixed to individual chapters in the codices are recorded where they differ from the index; titles in recent books are sometimes changed or omitted.
