ON THE PROPERTY OF WORDS.

Senium Old age/Weariness is weariness and hatred, named from senectus old age, because old men are a hatred and a weariness to everyone. Caecilius in the Hephaestio:

"Then, however, in old age I consider this most miserable,
To feel at that age that one is hateful to another."
