A copperplate engraving depicts a winged Cupid acting as a rustic laborer. He uses a tool to work the earth near a stump, while butterflies or moths flutter around a thin line or thread he is tending. The scene is set outdoors on a small patch of ground.

And Cupid learns the rustic words of the plowman.
