This library is built in the open.
If you spot an error, have a suggestion, or just want to say hello — we’d love to hear from you.

It exhibits the text as faithfully as possible, yet the typographical errors which crept into Mercer’s edition, and of which his copyist provided a truly large harvest, have been corrected in the work itself. We have added, moreover, a literary notice regarding Nonius and Fulgentius.
You now possess a more correct and authoritative edition of Mercer, so polished that you may completely dispense with the original! May you enjoy our work, kind reader!
We wrote this in Hanover, on the 31st of March, 1825.
