4. Guelpherbytanus Wolfenbüttel Manuscript, parchment, not too old, generally does not include the Greek. (No. 217. Gud. Gudianus)
5. Guelpherbyt. alter Second Wolfenbüttel Manuscript, which I have called the Langerian manuscript, paper, (very recent, stammering in Greek, corrupted by many graphic errors original: "sphalmatis graphicis"). (No. 85. 7.) The final part of Book XVIII is not found in either codex.
6. Codex Monacensis A Munich Manuscript A. Rigler, a remarkably learned young man, examined this handwritten book, which is preserved in the Royal Library of Munich under number 182. A., at the request of the illustrious Thiersch. It is an excellent book, which contains the complete books on construction. The same book in my edition, from Book XVIII onwards, is marked with this sign: Cod. Mon. B.
7. Monacensis B Munich Manuscript B. This is a fragment of the collation of the Munich Codex under number 180. A. This collation pertains up to the end of Book XVII.
