Since, however, it is the task of an editor to bring to light fragments in the order in which they have been handed down in the manuscripts, and all the more so because only more or less probable conjectures have been made regarding the origin of our collection, we have left the division of the collection into two parts or series, as well as the actual order of the fragments of both parts, completely unchanged.
