Ash of mouse skins mixed with vinegar is applied to the forehead. The head of a snail feeding in the morning is cut off with a reed and tied in a small linen thread and hung from the neck. To a fractured head, a spider's web is applied with oil and vinegar, and it does not withdraw until it heals the pain. The water that remained from the drink of an ox or a donkey heals if it is drunk three times. Ash of stag's horn, applied with vinegar and rose oil, is beneficial.

Louse-sickness pthiriasis infestation of lice and scurf porrigines dandruff/scalp eruptions usually turn into ruin. These must be helped. They are therefore anointed with bulbs crushed in wine. Likewise, with sulfur in wine. Likewise, they are applied by themselves in cedar oil. Garlic crushed with vinegar and soda original: "nitro" is rubbed in. Flour of fenugreek with wine and soda purges scurf, as does bran with vinegar. The root of hellebore decocted in oil, crushed, and poured over performs the same.
