From the library of the Blessed Mary of Castollia cy l'Ano?
A printer's device for Hieronymus de Marnef and the widow of Guillaume Cavellat depicts a pelican in her piety. The bird is perched on a branch, pecking at her breast to nourish her three chicks in a nest with her own blood, serving as a symbol of self-sacrifice. The motto "IN ME MORS, IN ME VITA" (In me is death, in me is life) is printed vertically on either side.
