The Sphere of the World (De Sphaera)

Regarding the form of the air which is suspended toward the lowest clouds, it will be hot and in the sign? under which the place is situated. If indeed anything is said of the seed of fire, it is done by traversing the environment of the air in some way. But here it is said that it is the cause of heat?. But as far as the spiritual power is concerned, it is said that in the substance? of the spirit it is sustained and tempered by fire, so that it is only more hot and not burning? And in that temperament?, all things of which one treats in the mind? Why? Because there is more spirit which lives from the species of fire. For the same is said to be more effective?, having the power of the living spirit. As those of Augustine, Book 1, chapter 22 of the City of God De Civitate Dei: Regarding the spirit, he says, that it is both hot and hotter as if by the narrowness of the air?? And the same skillful? forces from the spirit of God and water. In that we live and move and have our being and are always sustained?.

For the primordial matter? of water had reached the lower clouds which we have sensed as dividing of God. And it has reached even to the things above? And is it not why the firmament the expanse of the heavens divided the waters from the waters? And those which are seen under the firmament are on earth? even if by the proper? power of God. For as the soul? of God was placed in the body?, so through water and through earth? everywhere the spirit is shown?. From the part it is seen if magnitude and power are assigned?. It is said of Daphne? a classical reference likely used metaphorically here the way of water? and earth as two equals. As it is seen in the manner of Bram? likely a reference to a source or author book 2, that which the lord says there that the earth is naked, that if it be middle, from one part thick without soil, nothing from this seems to be the way. That in its nature? and its extremes? diffused with the marsh living it might lead, as in the sum, out of the earth the water is free which to settle the waters?. And more manifestly? exposed as silt. That part of the earth? indeed to be as few I through the thing live living. The lord God more to the end to perform it can fashion. That water rules? More to this power the living force? was. Example the turning circle?? It could be seen to be in the soil before the place which it had moved before. Living and for others the waters it is seen.
