INCUNABULA
A decorative block-printed paper covers the majority of the front board. The pattern consists of a repeating geometric lattice of blue lines forming diamond shapes. At each intersection of the lattice is a small red circular dot. Within each diamond cell is a stylized blue floral or foliate motif, possibly representing a fleur-de-lis or a tulip bud. The paper is torn at the top left corner and along the right edge, revealing the underlying cream-colored vellum binding.
A small white label is pasted at the very top left edge of the binding, containing the printed word "INCUNABULA" in a modern serif typeface, likely an archival or library shelf-mark.
