From these examples, whose number can easily be increased, it appears that the codices examined by me divide into two classes, to one of which are to be assigned BCLU, and to the other, which is much worse, D and P, about which I will discuss a little later.
However, although the codices in question are dissimilar in faith and authority among themselves, they all seem to have flowed from one and the same source. For all are infected in not a few places with the same vice, as for instance p. 12, 24 and 17, 14; 15, 13; 27, 3; 47, 1; 88, 24; 89, 3; 124, 12, 13, 16; 128, 24; 433, 27; 493, 8.
The codices which I have reviewed so far have been collated in their entirety either by me or by others; I have taken care to transcribe from those I will enumerate next a sample of the variety of readings, so that it might be permitted to judge their authority. These are:
