IV. I have transcribed the Scholia on Theon’s recension of the Optics from many codices; where V or another older codex was available, I only inspected the younger ones, without collating them, which I have indicated by including the siglum of the uncollated codex in parentheses.

Vat. m. 2 = a later hand of the same.

A = Ambrosian codex A 101 sup., paper, 15th century.
M = Marcian codex 304, paper, 15th century.

*) The scholia nos. 12 and 14 on pp. 254—255 (R^1) were placed here by mistake; they pertain to the ancient Optics, where they are listed among the scholia as nos. 6 and 8, and were taken from Vatican codex 1039 (= Vat.^1).
