original Latin: "Medicorum Graecorum Opera Quae Exstant." This series, edited by Kühn, was an ambitious project to compile all surviving writings of ancient Greek doctors into a single reference set.
Karl Gottlob Kühn (1754–1840) held the chair of physiology and pathology at Leipzig. His work on this series provided the foundation for modern study of ancient Greek medicine.
