Indeed, in the Sandalarium The Sandalarium was a street or district in Rome famous for its bookshops, where the majority of the bookshops in Rome are located, we witnessed some people arguing whether a book offered for sale was mine or belonged to someone else. It had been inscribed with the title, Galen the Physician. As someone was buying it under the impression it was mine, a certain man who was a student of literature original: "philologos," referring to a scholar or person trained in textual analysis was struck by the strange nature of the title and wished to investigate its claim.

For in the street of the Sandal-makers, where there are many shops of books for sale in Rome, we saw certain men arguing whether that book which was being sold was mine or that of some other person. It was indeed inscribed, Galen the Physician. However, when someone was buying it as if it were mine, a certain man studious of letters, moved by the novelty of the title, wished to explore its promise.
