JOHANNES BERCK. Johannes Berck (1565–1627) was a prominent Dutch jurist and diplomat who served as the ambassador to Venice and Denmark.

One figure represents Hercules with his club, and the other represents a figure of peace or concord. The surrounding border contains a motto which is partially obscured and mirrored, likely reading "Invicta Concordia" or "Unconquered Harmony."
