However, when it intends to generate an animal, it specifically prepares the animal's Humidum moisture or vital fluid, and according to that disposition, it brings forth the animal form of the moisture so prepared.

5. In the growth of vegetables plants, it indeed prepares the same material, but in a very different way, yet always according to the necessity and shape of that thing which it is busy producing from our fatty moisture.

6. The sun maintains exactly the same process in the generation of metals and minerals. Thus, the sun and stars bring forth many kinds of things, all according to the different influence and disposition they introduce into our fountain.

7. And it should be noted that when the sun is laboring to generate gold in the earth, it makes our Mercurium Mercury, that is, our fountain, more earthly and watery than airy and watery.
