The nature of our poison, only through the hand
Of the philosophers, is tamed;
Therefore, whoever does not know our hand and does not know how to prepare it,
So that it opens and closes at certain times,
Will not find us tame, nor how fruitful we can be
When one brings us together.
In this way, they are rightly called "Triplicatis" (Threefold)
