D is the 4th letter and the 4th number, which is the true number of suffering and misery, where the grim spirits of the Eternal Nature have the upper hand in the earthly elements. This number looks back into the darkness with its square, and thereby shows its own origin.
This number has been imposed upon us by the Binarius (the number two), which drove us out of Paradise, and the 4 central $Δ$ (Fire/Triangles) now chastise us with this number, like an executioner with his rod, and this is the number of all change in this principle. Its symbol is: Mors Unius est Generatio Alterius (The death of one is the birth of another). 2 Peter 3:8 In this number of the thousand-year world-days, the Son of God became man and entered into the awakened grimness of the creature, as if in the wrath of the Father. This number robbed Him of the temporal life after much suffering, through which He not only moved the grimness of this number into a Q: E: (Quod Est/That which is), but also, through His death, awakened a new life in this death of the four elements—a life which this number of grimness can no longer touch.
The outer figure of this alphabetical number is a square, through which all misery, suffering, and misfortune is measured out to the creature that has gone forth in the image and character of God. For all adversity lies in this square and in its number, for now, the grim heat presses upon the creature so that it is, as it were, ignited in wrath; now the grim cold presses so that it feels nothing of the loving $Δ$ (Fire/Divine Love) of God inside; now it is anxious...
