A warning note: A large color calibration card and a resolution chart have been placed over the right-central portion of the map, obscuring geographic details and regional labels in that area.

A detailed, hand-colored engraved map of Germany and adjacent regions. The topography is illustrated with small hills and forests. Cities and towns are marked with individual architectural icons and red ink dots. A sailing ship is depicted in the North Sea, labeled "German Ocean." The map border features degrees of latitude and longitude.
In the bottom-left corner is an elaborate, polychrome coat of arms. It features a double-headed imperial eagle topped with a crown-like mitre, holding an orb and scepter. A smaller shield is positioned on the eagle's breast. The entire crest is set within a decorative blue and gold frame adorned with grotesque masks at the corners.
