Amphitheater of Eternal Wisdom

An elaborate engraving depicts a rocky landscape with a symbolic gate or cave entrance at the center-left. The entrance is an archway built into a cliff, through which a light source emanates. Several radiating stone slabs or rays within the arch contain inscriptions. A small figure, possibly a scholar or monk, is depicted in the foreground looking towards the gate. In the background, a rolling landscape features a distant town with a church spire, several trees, and two walking figures. A line of birds flies in the sky above the hills. Various inscriptions in Latin, Hebrew, and Greek are integrated into the rock formations and the architectural elements of the gate.
