BOOK 1: Concerning the Egyptian Hieroglyphic gods, Osiris, Isis, Mercury, Vulcan, Typhon, etc.; concerning the wondrous works of kings, the characters of individual animals, and other monuments looking toward this.

BOOK 2: Concerning the allegories of the Greeks, primarily the golden ones, such as the Golden Fleece of Jason, the golden apples of the Hesperides, etc., denoting nothing other than the golden medicine.

BOOK 3: Concerning the golden and fictitious genealogy of gods and goddesses, either Philosophical or Chemical-Medical.

BOOK 4: Concerning festivals and sacred rites, as well as contests and games, instituted for the sake of this science.

BOOK 5: Concerning the Labors of Hercules, signifying the same art.

BOOK 6: Concerning the Trojan expedition and the requirements without which Troy could not be captured, and the wanderings of Ulysses, pertaining to the same.
