Was born at Heinsheim, under the jurisdiction of Gemmingen, October 22, 1674. He studied at Jena and died on August 3, 1730, as Rector Magnificus in Giessen. His library collection came through public auction to the Government Secretary and later Court Councilor Leonhard Köhler of Sulzbach, of the Duke of the Young Palatinate, from whom it came to me in large part.
