merciful God, through your immense custody, you permitted and ordered holy and pious Angels to stand guard over me, so that my life might be safe and my soul might believe in you. In this gentleness and beneficence, persevere faithfully and constantly until the end of my life and for all eternity.

O Lord of Lords, Lord of the sciences, rich in power, Glory in the Highest, Fountain of inexhaustible goodness, Orderer of all things, Creator of all things, Giver of waters, Lord of hosts, infinite generosity, inestimable knowledge, numberless firmness, incorruptible cleanliness, God remaining above all things, merciful God, look upon my wounds so that you may heal them. Restore and remake my bones, which are deformed, foul with corruption, and crushed.

O Christ, Grace of the Creator, spiritual Doctrine, Mercy of the Most High, Fortitude of God, great sweetness of God, and best favor of God, ineffable, incomprehensible merciful God, be my leader, Lord, and guide me with you. For if I alone enter upon that path which leads to the fountain of divine eternity, I will wander from the way. But I shall be so confirmed by your company that I may be able to sustain my own presence. Support me, so that I do not lose heart; hold me firmly, so that I do not steal myself away and flee. Order the Devil to be silent, because you are my advocate.
