A square woodcut printer's mark or emblem is displayed. At the center is a circular medallion depicting a human figure, likely a soul or Mercury, riding on the back of an eagle with wide-spread wings. The circular border contains the motto "IN DEO VIVIMUS ET MOVEMUR" In God we live and move. The medallion is enclosed in a highly decorative frame featuring Renaissance-style scrollwork, floral motifs, and masks. On the left side of the emblem is the number "15" and on the right is "95", forming the year 1595.
