But so that you may learn the generation of SATVRNE Saturn/Lead, know that just as common EAV water becomes ice through the coagulation caused by the natural coldness originating from the alteration of the superior Heaven, likewise one can say that SATVRNE is coagulated and made corporeal by the great coldness which is found in his SEL salt. And as ice resolves itself through heat, so SATVRNE, being similarly coagulated and made a Metal, is rendered fusible by a fire similar to that of Mount Etna. There is found in him a great quantity of Mercure mercury, but not permanent—rather volatile—and a very small quantity of SOVFRE sulfur, which is the cause that he could not be sufficiently warmed. The SEL is likewise found in small quantity, but nevertheless fusible, although the fusibility of SATVRNE does not proceed from the SEL. For if the SEL gave fusibility and malleability, it would follow that MARS iron would be more fusible and malleable than Saturne. But inasmuch as there are distinctions and differences in Metaux metals, you must take good care of how you must distinguish and understand them.
