GOD, THE BEST AND GREATEST,
our most Clement and Benevolent Father,
in His great love and fatherly care for us,
has placed Nature before our eyes from eternity
to signify His will to us: Which Nature is
nothing other than the own, eternal, and unique
will of God. To this Nature, as His obedient
and faithful instrument, God has entrusted
and absolutely delivered His will and
commandment to be faithfully and diligently
brought to effect: Which performs its
commanded labor and duty without interruption,
nay, it does not even rest for a moment
in its high and striving exertion to fulfill
the divine will. Whence we ought by right
and merit to learn to know, revere, and love
the Creator of all things above all else, since
the Creator is known through His creatures.
