For when God bestows a rich blessing of grain and wine, one has uselessly wasted or squandered such with excess as much as one could, and let the rest lie and spoil; no one has sought how the surplus could be stored and preserved for future lean years; each one only thought, when he had enough, that another might also look out for himself in the future as to what he might live on. Thus, from the rich blessing of God, the surplus has only been thrown away and spoiled out of carelessness, and never has anything been preserved thereof for the future. Yet Christ, when He fed many thousands
