fosters the seven planets, which are generated from the seven celestial bodies, yet by a certain spiritual impression. Since all stars generate minerals, these things therefore happen in an incomprehensible and spiritual way, and thus appear to be supernatural, by the example of two people loving one another. The human body is visible and physical, but love is invisible, spiritual, incomprehensible, and supernatural, to be compared only to magnetic attraction, for invisible love, lured by desire through spiritual imagination, is satisfied only when its thirst is quenched.

In like manner, when the love of heaven inclines toward the earth, and the affection of the earth tends toward man, like the love of the macrocosm the great world/universe to the microcosm the little world/man (since the latter depends upon the former), when the earth now conciliates the love of heaven to itself through the desire of its invisible imagination, a conjunction results between the superior and the inferior, by the example of male and female, who are fashioned by us as one body. After this conjunction, the earth, impregnated by such an influence, begins to produce offspring, just as the influx was made, which offspring is then, after conception, cooked by the elements and matured to perfection. That which is reckoned and numbered among supernatural things is how the operation of a supernatural thing descends into a natural thing.

Among supernatural things are also placed all Magical and Cabbalistic arts, which proceed from the true light of nature, not from those which smack of superstition or the illicit conjuration of sorcerers. But I understand such Magic here as
