A circular printer's device or emblem. Inside the circle, a female figure sits amidst architectural ruins and piles of books, holding a staff or scepter. Rays of light shine down upon her from above. A banner arches over her with the Latin motto "PRESSA RESURGIT" Pressed down, it rises again. The emblem rests on decorative scrollwork and foliage.
