Basilius, Valentinus · 1717

original: "Sunt ex libris D: Frid: Principis de Taxis." This Latin inscription marks the volume as part of the private collection of the House of Thurn und Taxis, a high-ranking noble family famous for their role in the German postal system and their extensive library in Regensburg.
The manuscript page is made of thick, textured paper of a brownish-tan color. It shows signs of wear, including dark spots from wormholes and some liquid staining. The handwriting is in a cursive style using dark ink. A red rectangular stamp from the Regensburg State Library is visible in the upper left. A small, vertically oriented piece of paper, colored red on top and white on the bottom, is attached to the middle right area of the page.
