Lemnius was a very skillful Flemish physician, and what is found in this little book concerns natural history above all; there are even several curiosities concerning metallurgy. This book was translated into French and printed in-8°. in Paris in 1567.

Leipzig. 1708. In German. We have seen in the first volume how much those who confuse Mary the Chemist with the sister of Moses are mistaken. The Chemist lived in the time of Democritus and Xerxes; thus, more than 1200 years after Mary the sister of Moses.
