I. BAUDELOT DE DAIRVAL in his tractatu de utilitate itinerum treatise on the utility of travels, Volume II, Paris 1693, published in French, explains how much the science of coins is profitable in travels.
II. GISBERT CUPERUS in a unique Dissertatione dissertation, joined to his book published in Amsterdam in 1683: APOTHEOSIS OF HOMER, proves the utility that princes can derive from coins.
III. JOHANNES HEMELARIUS in the praefatione ad expositionem numismatum aureorum Romanorum preface to the exposition of Roman gold coins, which CHARLES CROY, Duke of Arschot, had collected, published in Antwerp in 1637 and again there in 1654.
IV. VALENTIN ERNST LOESCHER in his dissertations: de usu nummorum veterum in Theologia et explicatione S.
