JOHANNES PETRUS BELLORIUS, an Italian, published the historiam Augustam Augustan history of FRANCESCO ANGELONI from JULIUS CAESAR to CONSTANTINE THE GREAT, illustrated from ancient coins, originally published at Rome in 1641; he published it again with supplements in Italian at the same place in 1685 with figures.
V. THOMAS BRODER BIRCHEROD presented a Specimen antiquæ rei monetariæ Danorum Specimen of the ancient coinage of the Danes, Copenhagen 1701, with copper engravings.
VI. ELIAS BRENNERUS, a Swede, exposed to public view the Thesaurum nummorum Sueo-Gothorum Libris II. comprehensum Treasury of Swedish-Gothic coins comprised in two books at Stockholm in 1691.
VII. HUBERT GOLTZIUS, a Belgian, whose works exist: Icones Imperatorum Romanorum ex priscis numismatibus ad vivum delineatæ Icons of Roman Emperors drawn from life from ancient coins, Antwerp 1557; an expanded edition appeared under the title Series Imperatorum Romanorum Series of Roman Emperors under the care of CASPAR GEWARTIUS, Antwerp 1645; Græciæ universæ, ejusque insularum, et Asiæ minoris numismata Coins of all Greece, its islands, and Asia Minor, Bruges 1576, and with the commentaries of LUDOVICUS NONIUS, Antwerp 1620.
VIII. ABRAHAM GORLAEUS, a Dutchman, published the Thesaurum numismatum familiarum Romanarum usque ad obitum AUGUSTI Imp. Treasury of the coins of Roman families up to the death of the Emperor AUGUSTUS, Delft 1609.
