French binding. 9-10. Alcobaça is a major monastic complex in Portugal; this work is a primary history of the site and its order.

A magnificent copy. 15-0. original: "Roma Subterranea Novissima... en veau fauve." This influential work documented the early Christian catacombs of Rome.
