Stackhouse was an English theologian; this work was famous for its defense of the Bible against deists and for its detailed engravings.

15 The Art of Turning, or how to perform to perfection all sorts of lathe-work, etc. by Charles Plumier, with figures. in folio. Paris 1749. Stitched. 15-0. Charles Plumier was both a monk and a botanist; his work on the lathe was the definitive technical manual for wood and ivory turning in the 18th century.
16 Wonders of Roman Antiquities and Remains of Ancient Sculpture, relief work original: "Anaglyphtico opere" crafted from marble specimens that still exist in Rome, etc. That is to say: Collection of Bas-Reliefs; and other precious remains of Antiquity still seen in Rome; drawn and engraved by Pietro Santi Bartoli, with the explanation at the bottom of each— Bartoli was a celebrated 17th-century engraver whose works were essential for the study of Roman archaeology before the age of photography.
