Hercules, having grown weary from his glorious deeds, lies down with two of his companions beneath a cliff. The four Seasons come to honor him and applaud his glories. Then his father, Jupiter, sends the Eagle with a crown in its talons to crown him. As a sign of joy, the four Seasons weave a dance with the companions of Hercules, who at the end dances a solo. Meanwhile, four Harlequins and four Pulcinellos arrive in the forest and celebrate the exaltation of Hercules with their own dances. A Cola a mask of the Neapolitan commedia dell'arte ends the Intermezzo with a solo dance.
