Tarquinio the Seventh, and last King of the Romans, goes to venerate the tombs of his predecessor Kings, and while his Pages celebrate the power of their Lord with a minuet, invited by Tarquinio, the six Roman Kings descend from their urns and form a solemn dance. At the end of which, as Tarquinio dances a solo, Brutus suddenly enters with some Roman Senators; terrified by their appearance, the aforementioned Kings withdraw. Brutus then forces them to serve his glory, obliging them to form his equestrian statue out of some stones found there. While such a trophy is being raised, the Roman Senators weave a joyful dance, which Brutus ends with a solo dance.
